Landscape painting is far less challenging than the painting of a beautiful face, but does become more challenging when a figure becomes
the subject within.. I refer to a landscape painting as a FigureScape
when it includes a figure. .A landscape painting is just the
amazing
environment we were given to live within. We did not create the sea, or the birds, nor the sunrises and sunsets that amaze us. That is what the painter, poet and composers try to tell us, each in their own unique way. We see it, feel it, touch it, and taste it. We were Blessed to live in it.
